Berggård Amundsen is an independent, Norwegian family-owned electrical wholesaler established in 1946. Seven decades of building something remarkable – and a brand identity that finally reflects it.
The Challenge
Berggård Amundsen had been quietly building one of Norway's most progressive electrical wholesale businesses for decades. Family-owned, independently minded, and consistently ahead of the curve on sustainability and innovation. But their visual identity didn't reflect any of that. It was outdated, inconsistent, and disconnected from the direction the company was heading.
As they developed a new strategy, they needed a brand identity that could carry it – something that would work across hundreds of touchpoints, from warehouse facades to digital platforms, and give the entire organisation something to rally behind.
THE SOLUTION
We designed a new logo and complete visual identity built around the concept "The energy you need" – a line that works both literally and strategically. It captures what Berggård Amundsen supplies, and what they represent as a business: a reliable, energetic partner that keeps things moving.
The new identity was designed to scale. From the initial logo and visual system, the collaboration has continued to grow – warehouse exteriors across the country (ProffPunkt), PowerPoint templates, company presentations, campaign magazines, vehicle graphics, in-store touchscreens, and a strategy concept video and brand film. A brand identity built not just for launch, but for the long term.
